A tiny helper runs on your Mac and indexes your Obsidian-style Markdown vault — a folder of notes. Your notes stay on your machine; only the specific passages you ask for are relayed.

Requires Node.js. Point the agent at your vault folder with SECONDBRAIN_VAULT or ~/.secondbrainbridge-agent.json. If the vault sits in a protected location (Documents, Desktop, or iCloud Drive), macOS asks once for Files & Folders access to that folder — click Allow.
